I've been here a few times and this place never misses. Their food and drinks are amazing all around. The service is always fast and friendly. There's lots of seating but this place is always busy. This is the spot for a date night or if you looking to spend time with a group of people.

Came back to try the food on the specials menu. Very tasty but you can tell they add generous amounts of fat to give it that rich flavor. It can be a bit rich for some people. Great flavor and well done steaks.

Came here for Valentine's Day on Saturday. Had a reservation for 7:15, got seated 7:25-7:30. There was TONS of people. They have a little waiting area and it was packed. Definitely make a reservation if you decide on coming here. We ordered quite a bit. House stuffed bread: a nice start to dinner. The sauce made the bread a bit soggy but the flavor was over good. (3/5) Salmon sashimi: not your regular salmon sashimi. It has a sort of ponzu style sauce, not quite ponzu. But it was definitely delicious, a tad bit salty. Nonetheless still very delicious. It was paired with these pickled cucumbers. So so good. We ended up asking for a side of the pickles. (4/5) Yellow tail roll: it is a basic spicy tuna roll with yellow tail on top. Super fresh. I love the rice to roll ratio. (4/5) Big, big baked potato: they're known for this potato (as stated on the menu) it's okay. I could've done without this. It's your standard baked potato. Nothing really stands out. It's topped with butter, bacon, green onions, sour cream. (3.5/5) Crispy Brussel sprouts: I love when places do brussels sprouts, i think it's a nice veggie dish in a meat heavy dinner. They were tender, nicely seasoned with little crispy leaves. (4/5) Rice pilaf: not a fan. I think this is the only thing I didn't like. I was expecting a buttered rice pilaf but it came out looking like fried rice. Which is not bad, if it were fried rice. The rice was a bit dry, lacked seasoning. (2/5) Mushrooms and onions: nothing to complain about, this is your standard mushrooms and onions. Although I don't remember onions. Just mushrooms. Lots of garlic, yummy. (3.5/5) Mashed potatoes: creamy and buttery. Also, very peppery. If you enjoy black pepper you'd like this. They have freshly cracked pepper throughout the mash. You can definitely taste it. It's not bad, it's just different. (3/5) NY steak and shrimp: very good, tender. Was a little tangy. Lemon? I'm not sure. Did have a piece of tendon along the steak, wasn't a fan of that. Also there was a pretty big chunk of fat. But the Chicago style was okay. Sizzling plate(wasn't really sizzling) with garlic butter. (3.5/5) Ultra NY wagyu steak: super tender. The pickled shiitake was different. I liked it. But my so was not a fan. I feel like it added a little surprise. Overall I thought it was tasty.(4/5) Service was great. Although they were slammed with customers our waitress did a really great job at checking in on us and making sure everything was good. Made sure our drinks were filled. (5/5) Overall, i give a 3.5 rounded up to be 4. This place is good. Has a lot of good dishes. A lot of different things you wouldn't find anywhere else. And for the amount we sent, we got a lot of food. On everything we spent about $225. This was with two cocktails and a soda. Also, the noise level was quite loud.

An amazing date night!!! Came right when they opened to avoid the crowd and glad we did. Everything came out fast and server was so nice. Ambiance is nice, you don't have to dress up but everyone looks clean and put together. Stuffed bread was absolutely everythinggg we tore it up. Steaks were ordered medium well and they were perfect. We got the chicago sauce which comes out sizzling. It was so flavorful and tender, probably the best steak we've ever had. Creamed spinach needed seasoning so would probably go for the salad as a side next time. Apple crisp was amazing! Will DEFINITELY be back, this is a go to. Truly a wonderful experience and a great night!
